Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration

INTEK Cleaning & Restoration understands the distress and confusion that follow a house fire or commercial fire. Their trained fire cleaning specialists are equipped to clean heavy smoke and soot filled environments using modern cleaning and restoration technology. Services include emergency boardup and roof tarping, soot removal and structure cleaning, smoke odor removal, and furnace and duct cleaning so smoke odor doesn't recirculate through the HVAC system. They respond to homes and businesses in Sioux Falls, Brookings, Yankton, and across eastern South Dakota. They help ease the burden of recovery from the first call to their 24/7 hotline through the final repair.

Contents Restoration After A Fire

The contents restoration service from INTEK Cleaning & Restoration cleans and disinfects damaged belongings so you can continue using them instead of replacing them, often at a fraction of the cost of buying new. Contents are carefully packed out, inventoried, and brought to their secure, temperature-controlled facility for cleaning with the Fireline contents cleaning system. Smoke-damaged clothing and other soft contents are cleaned and disinfected in the Esporta Wash System. Each item then goes through the onsite ozone room to neutralize lingering smoke odors before being stored in secure compartments until you are ready to move back in.

Fire Damage Repair & Reconstruction

Their own team of skilled carpenters and painters takes your property from cleanup through rebuild without the hassle of dealing with another contractor or multiple sub-contractors. INTEK Cleaning & Restoration brings more than 4 decades of experience working with insurance on both residential and commercial losses. They are able to work directly with the insurance adjuster, document the damage, and provide a written, itemized estimate. References are available upon request. They are licensed and insured, and proof of insurance is available upon request.

Water Damage Restoration & Mold Remediation

When a burst pipe, failed sump pump, water used to put out a fire, or other disaster floods a property or basement, 24-hour crews at INTEK Cleaning & Restoration handle emergency cleanup, drying, and reconstruction. Their certified staff works within insurance company guidelines to help expedite claims. They provide moisture readings and drying records for the adjuster as well. INTEK Cleaning & Restoration also offers free, confidential mold inspections in basements, attics, and anywhere else mold is suspected. They can provide an estimate if mold is found, with remediation that uses containment, negative air pressure, HEPA air scrubbers, and post-remediation air testing.
