The Les Lukert Winter Conference Began in in 1990 and was first held in Kearney, Nebraska. It has grown to a 2 1/2 day firefighter training conference

Traditionally, Les Lukert Winter Conference courses have been directed at all ranks of firefighters and current or aspiring instructors. 

The Nebraska Society of Fire Service Instructors (NSFSI) welcomes you to this year's Les Lukert Conference!

The NSFSI is dedicated to excellence in the training of Emergency Response Personnel. Our emphasis is placed on the development of the emergency response instructor or training officer. The annual Les Lukert Conference provides firefighters the opportunity to participate in that development, which will lead to uniform professional standards for emergency response instructors and training officers. Whether you are brand new to the fire service or have served 40+ years, you have the potential to better the fire service for years to come.

We invite you to join us in a weekend immersed in the brotherhood of the fire service alongside hard-working, passionate brothers & sisters who truly “get it.”

Many changes have occurred over these last 33 years in the fire service but the mission of the NSFSI stays the same: Share The Knowledge!
